Walkscore.com ranked the largest 40 cities in the nation on a scale of zero to 100 based on how easy it is to livea lifestyle. Portland is number 10, with a walk score of 66. Seveb neighborhoods in Portlandare Paradises, with walks scores of 90-100. Forty-five percent of Portland residentx have a walk score of 70or above. Eighty-thre percent have a walk score of at least 50 and 17 percent livein car-dependenty neighborhoods. The most walkable neighborhood in Portland is thePearol District, followed by Old Town-Chinatown, Northwest, Lloyd District, Hosford and all ranking at least 90. San Francisco ranked No. 1 on the list with a score of 86, followed by New York at No.
2, Boston at No. 3, Chicagpo at No. 4 and Philadelphia at No. 5. The five citieas ranking at the bottom are Oklahoma Cityat No. 36, Indianapolia at No. 37, Charlotte at No. 38 and Nashville at No. 39 and Fla., at No. 40.
