Revwar president Tom Welsh said that his companh has been using MicroScribe products for 15 years and when he saw that Immersio was looking tosell MicroScribe, he jumpedd on the opportunity. “We are going to be able to focus on MicroScribs in a way that Immersion was not able Welsh said.
Revware was formerly known as , a company that was a software developer as well as a reseller of the SolidWorks CAD The company grew in the 1990s along with the technology bubble and in Design Automation made TriangleBusiness Journal’s annual rankintg of the 50 fastest-growing companies in the Raleigh-Durham area. Welsg said Design Automation, which peaked at 15 had pared down since the technologgybubble burst. Revware has fewer than five employees. Welsuh said with the acquisition of the company will grow in Raleigh and on the West But he declinedto elaborate, sayingh that negotiations are stilk under way.
